During large-scale outdoor events, the PromoDrone banner drones first create double-takes as they gradually make their way around pre-determined flight areas crowded with event participants. Clearly seen, the drone effectively captures the attention of the passersby and those within line of sight of the high-contrast full-color banner displays. In awe, the audience retrieves their smartphones and begins to record the PromoDrone as it approaches the area. As the banner drone nears, the smartphone cameras automatically scan the embedded QR code which links the viewers to a branded website designed as a specific product purchase portal. The brand has gained a multitude of new impressions, subscriber information, and potential new customers while the audience has just gained an opportunity to participate in a hyper-targeted brand-sponsored promotion. We use a DJI Matrice 600 Pro drone with a customized patent-pending banner frame system attached that displays two, 2.5’x2’ static banners that can be printed with any branding, logo, or messaging you or your customers desire.

FAQ's

Currently, the FAA does not allow drone operations over non-participants without a special waiver. Waiver requests require more time, incur additional costs, and have no guarantee of approval. We foresee this changing in the near future with the popularity and integration of UAS technology rapidly increasing among global organizations.

The Federal Aviation Administration requires all commercial drone operators to be trained and Part 107 Certified. All PromoDrone Pilots In Command (PICs) are part 107 Certified operators and comply with all FAA laws and regulations.
